2021 Summer Head Coach Announcement
The Nechako Valley Swim Club is excited to announce that Baylee McGillivray has accepted the position as Head Coach for the 2021 Summer Season. We couldn’t be more pleased to retain Baylee this summer as we plan to provide a competitive season experience within our club and region. It is our club’s goal that we will provide every opportunity allowable for our athletes to train, compete and have fun during our competitive season. It may look different this year however we want to make this season rewarding for our athletes.
As the Head Coach for the Quesnel Sea Lions for three competitive seasons, Baylee has tremendous coaching experience in helping swimmers develop their goals and achieve their personal best times. Additionally, she has a competitive eye and has coached her athletes to win medals at meets and compete at BCSSA Provincials. We are fortunate that Baylee has been our Head Coach for the past two fall and winter seasons, as she is excited to continue developing our athletes and challenge them to their fullest potential.
Baylee will also bring an incredible amount of “summer swim culture” to our club. She will design fun swim and dryland practices, special events, and help build team camaraderie and spirit amongst the club.
Please join me in welcoming Baylee to the community of Vanderhoof for the summer! The season is projected to begin the week of May 3rd.
